Bickley, Rachel
Authors
Abstract
A survey of experienced LIS professionals was carried out in order to discover some of their perceptions of new LIS professionals. The results demonstrate the need for new professionals to establish dialogues with their experienced colleagues, and some methods of forging links and starting conversations are suggested. These results were first presented in a paper delivered at the CILIP Career Development Group New Professionals Conference 2011.
