Abstract
The first analysis of philosophical idealism since the 1940s to be written in English, this book covers the development of idealism from its ancient sources to its reappearance in contemporary Anglo-American philosophy. Against the widespread conviction that idealism is anti-naturalistic, this book further provides an account of the idealist philosophy of nature as a counter to prevailing understandings of the approach.
