Eight artists’ books by Bodman included by invitation by the curator Eileen Wallace, Lamar Dodd School of Art, University of Georgia. In the book Major Works by Leading Artists in a juried collection of showcased artists’ books as “pioneers in the field”: How Do I Love Thee?; Flowers in Hotel Rooms Volumes III and IV; Time Itself; Viola; Angelier; The Marsh Test; Livia’s Garden.
This collection in the Masters series, chosen and introduced by one of the world's top curators, offers field-defining work from 43 master book artists. Brief comments from the artists about their work, careers, and philosophies accompany the stunning images of their most innovative and technically accomplished book art achievements.
Two artists’ books by Bodman: ‘How Do I Love Thee?’ and ‘Fehling's Solution’ were later selected by Sandra Salamony with co-curators Peter and Donna Thomas (USA) with an invitation to be included in ‘1000 Artists’ Books’ (publication June 2012, Quarry Books/Rockport Publishers, USA).
