Authors
Abstract
This expert course on sensors will cover the fundamentals of sensor design and operation. all application contexts from physical sensing, through to chemical and biosensing will be addressed. Focus will also be on electrical/electrochemical methods and optical techniques. The key challenges of sensor fabrication will be highlighted and emphasis will be given as to the role of organic and printed electronics in addressing these challenges and for developing new opportunities for sensors. This will be achieved by way of a number of examples of established and emerging organic/printed electronic sensing devices.
