Abstract
Considering that natural resources or green capital are the drivers of globalisation, this book focuses on the link between investment, trade and natural resource management in the context of the growing economic inequalities between states. It argues that there is a need to pay attention to the environmental and social conflicts arising out of economic globalisation and the response of regulatory and institutional mechanisms to the challenges of rapid resource depletion. This book will allow the readers to get a better understanding of the overlapping legal regimes, disagreement and diversities of legal processes, and the benefits and risks associated with sustainable management of the natural resource sector.
