Abstract

The main aims and objectives of the Stand Up and Be Heard oral presentation are:

 To provide an overview of the Stand Up and Be Heard Workshops that support teaching and learning related to fear of presentations/public speaking.
 To review the background (personal experience), rationale and development of these workshops.
 To review the main content and approach taken in the three-hour workshops.
 To give delegates idea/strategies and discuss available resources to support students develop these important transferable skills.
 To review the evaluation and feedback from students.
