Abstract
As university tutors in an age of easy access to information and instruction, our role shifts from information transmitter to something altogether more challenging. Fee paying students with high expectations demand more than knowledge and technical content. This presentation will explore how we use GIS in our geography curricula to facilitate personal development and transformation that help our graduates stand out from the crowd when they enter the highly competitive jobs market.
