Ismail, Nasrul
Authors
Abstract
The GP Alcohol Liaison Nurse was first piloted by the South Gloucestershire Drug & Alcohol Action Team (DAAT) in May 2013. The report seeks to evaluate the interventions provided by the Nurse towards problematic/dependent alcohol service users in GP surgeries across the priority neighbourhood areas in South Gloucestershire. It evaluates the key performance indicators of the project: referrals, number in treatment, successful completions, return on investment, GP confidence, and service users' satisfaction.
