Abstract
On behalf of Students’ Group of the International Medical Informatics Association’s (IMIA) Nursing Informatics Special Interest Group, we are advocating for the concept of health equity to be one of the cornerstones of nursing and healthcare informatics. We also believe that healthcare information technologies can aid in the provision of equitable care for all people and that it should be a priority for the international community of healthcare informaticians.
