Abstract

This report for Eurostat (Methodology) considers the conceptual and practical issues that need to be addressed in designing and implementing automatic disclosure control checking for statistical research outputs.
The report covers
- The basic theory of output checking in research environments
- Operational considerations
- Initial feasibility review, including MoSCoW and process decisions

This is the first deliverable from the Eurostat Project 'Access to European microdata in Eurostat safe centre' (ESTATMET2-000058-6000054239-REQ-01). It was presented to the ESS Expert Group on SDC in October 2020.
