Abstract
This edited collected is based on a body of work spanning 15 years at the University of the West of England, Bristol, that brings together multi-disciplinary approaches to understanding and responding to sexual abuse. The preface will lay out the research and evidence base of the work done at UWE, Bristol, focusing on research and policy development over the last five years. The preface highlights the multi-agency partnership work that is at the core of an EpiCrim approach to the prevention of sexual abuse. The preface will end by discussing the content and layout of the edited collection.
