Abstract

Real and Imagined Lives explores identity through works drawn from the National Portrait Gallery Collection. Fictional character sketches written by well known authors accompany Tudor & Jacobean paintings of unknown sitters, while writers offer an alternative view on contemporary photographs of well known people with Bristol connections such as J K Rowling and Damien Hirst.

I was commissioned to write a piece exhibited with the portrait of rapper/singer Tricky.
