Abstract

An exhibition which explores drawing in a wider context than the traditional fine art discipline. As well as showcasing the breadth of drawing practices within the University and its application in fields as diverse as engineering, design, business, science, health and the arts, the purpose of this exhibition is to consider potentially broader and less orthodox examples of 'drawing' within the surrounding community.

The exhibition has been organised as part of 'The Big Draw', the national campaign to encourage drawing, and includes 24 hours of drawing workshops involving over two hundred participants and hosted at the School of the Arts.
