Abstract

In many ways it is not possible to queer feminism, because feminism is already queer. It’s the ‘OQ – the Original Queer’. One school of feminism takes this crown in particular, that is, of course, radical feminism. Want to live communally and smash the nuclear family? Aspire to while away the hours dreaming of a post-gender future? Wish to eschew mainstream beauty standards and do DIY as activism; actual DIY, like using power tools and fixing vans? If the answer is yes, then, well, Roberta is your Auntie, because radical feminism is all over that.
