This book provides the first published and accessible grammatical description of a Mosetenan language. The authors carried out extensive fieldwork on the language, and the grammar is based on text data such as stories and discussions, as well as elicitation data. It is innovative in being the first accessible description of this small, unclassified language family and gives important insights into the grammar.
It has been reviewed in Anthropological Linguistics 48 (2) 2006 by Willem Adelaar, LinguistList 19.4.2005 by Olesya Khanina and International Journal of American Linguistics 73 (2007) by Andrés Pablo Salanova.
