Additional Information Additional Information : The springboard for this chapter is a survey of 40 music therapists working for the six branches of one of the largest community-based providers of music therapy in the UK, The MusicSpace Trust. Over 700 surveyed children are discussed in relation to presenting issues (e.g. children on the autistic spectrum or with learning difficulties) including case vignettes. In addition to a review of theoretical and policy lenses through which current practice is viewed, shifting patterns are highlighted in relation to music's expression of both individual and cultural identities.
