The workshop aimed to explore recent methods taken to assess the impact of different approaches to public engagement, specifically focusing on public engagement through festivals and media; and to consider some problematic aspects of assessing the impact of public engagement with research. It also provided an opportunity for participants to consider the impact of their own work.
