Abstract
Commissioned by Kosar Contemporary Gallery, Sobers revisited his 2013 film 'Nothing Matters Everything Matters' with Tim Andrews, and made a new film of his own inner thoughts and feelings, at the event of turning 47 years old. Made structured around seven selfie video clips, Sobers explores ideas relating to masculinity, vulnerability, aging, and wellbeing. Though very different in style, the themes connect both films. Sobers directly references Tim Andrews in this new film, performing the liberated dancer in his own way.
