A workshop presentation on practical ways to involve patients and the public in clinical trials, a crucial stage in the antimicrobial medicines development lifecycle. This presentation focuses on the role of PPI in three processes: (1) trial design and protocol development, (2) trial conduct, and (3) trial data analysis and dissemination. It also highlights some potential challenges and facilitating strategies. Workshop content is based on material in the PPI toolkit developed for COMBACTE-MAGNET Work Package 6i.
