Abstract

This talk sheds light on the core history and beliefs of the Rastafari faith, which Sobers considers to be the world's best secret. Sobers challenges some common misconceptions regarding the public perception of Rastafari culture. This talk also sheds light on new areas of Research, including how Fairfield House in Bath had a role to play in how the seeds were sown with how the movement became energised in the USA and Caribbean in the 1930s.
