Status Current Part Time Yes Years 2017 - 2020 Project Title Real Business Cycles with Dollarization in Emerging Economies Project Description The project develops real business cycles models to match the moments observed in data for small open economies with emphasis on emerging markets. In doing so, the dissertation modifies existing real business cycle models to incorporate financial frictions and liability dollarization. The validity of these models are tested by looking at the extent to which moments in data can be replicated by theoretical model.
