Abstract

This research was a collaborative project between Up Our Street (https://upourstreet.org.uk/) and the Department of Geography and Environmental Management, UWE funded and supported by the Community University Partnership Initiative, which is part of the national co-ordinating centre for Public Involvement.

The aim of this research was to undertake an analysis of what happened from start to finish in the Easton Safer Streets project, which involved changes to transport, road, and footpath arrangements. The ultimate aim of this work was to support enable reflections on this project to provide insight. In doing so it is hoped that this will contribute towards a better understanding and appreciation of the experiences of participants in the Easton neighbourhood during the Safer Streets project, as well as those of the other stakeholders involved.
