Abstract

The Bristol Diversity trails are online resources hosted by the England's Past for Everyone website and funded by the Victoria County History/HLF. They are the first walking trail/virtual trail for Bristol to explore the multiethnic nature of the city over time, and are an important contribution to both understanding diversity, but also widening research in this area into the public domain and making original documents and research available to schools. The project was intended as e-copy only, although Bristol City Council and a community group are currently in negotiation to extend the research and print the publication in hard copy.
