Abstract
In this chapter we will reflect on two projects that have enabled disabled groups to be involved in designing and influencing technology that will be used by them. In addition, we will reflect on the process, limitations, barriers and actual involvement of the user groups. The case studies will be illustrative and provide a rich and meaningful account of what we did. Lessons and implications will be discussed as will future ways to engage a range of users in technology-based outcomes.
