Authors

Abstract

The 360° Gaze is the first comprehensive study that traces immersive experiences across a wide range of media and cultural practices in postmodern culture. With its interdisciplinary methodology, this book reveals the intersections between immersive settings in literature, theater, film, television, and other media, as well as the everyday immersive acts. It positions rapid developments in the field of immersive technologies alongside other both analog and digital immersive media.
