Abstract

This key-note presentation discussed approaches to research design and methodology, and offers thoughts towards how to connect research projects closer to real world experience and impact. The three areas discussed were; 1) Public engagement as the core methodology, not an add-on. 2) Re-think what research is, and what research looks like. 3) Making the outputs relevant for the group you're working with.

The symposium was an AHRC led event for the launch of their Delivery Plan strategy document for the next five years.
