Additional Information | Additional Information : This paper is one of several refereed journal articles published from the author's doctoral research, a longitudinal study of adults returning to education via an Access to HE course. The research involved repeated semi-structured interviews up to five times each, over a two year period. This paper was presented and discussed at both BERA and the Auto/Biography conferences in 2003. The paper outlines how moving through an Access course and onto university led to changes in the sense of self for a group of mature learners. |
