Whilst inevitably selective, these vignettes nevertheless offer instructive insight into some key contours of the contemporary nationalist landscape. Following a mapping and exploration these gendered and sexualized contours, the introduction goes on to account for the aims and scope of the text, offering a detailed synopsis of the book’s content and contribution, as it unfolds.
